We need an English-fluent Senior Web & Graphic Designer (WordPress), based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and launch WordPress websites.
  • Customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure responsive, high-performance, and SEO-friendly web design.
  • Create visually compelling UI/UX designs, graphics, and branding elements.
  • Optimize WordPress sites for speed, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Manage the full design-to-deployment workflow, including testing and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align web design with business objectives.
  • (Big Plus) Lead and mentor a small design/development team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in WordPress web design and development.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects with custom design elements.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic PHP for WordPress customization.
  • Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.) and custom theme development.
  • Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and modern web design trends.
  • Experience with website hosting, hosting transferring of sites (e.g. WP Engine) and DNS.
  • Experience installing or configuring SEO plugins (e.g. YoastSEO).
  • Knowledge in adding metadata and proper tagging.
  • Knowledge in setting up basic security on websites. i.e Spam filters to prevent automates bots, security plug ins and SSL certificates
  • Familiar with proper testing procedures , tracking and fixing bugs, test functionality and checking HTML syntax etc.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • (Big Plus) Experience leading or mentoring a design/development team.

Compensation:

  • The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $3,500- $4,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
  • This position is for an independent contractor, for 2 months project, 30 hrs/week.
  • After the initial two months, depending on demand, project could be adjusted 20 or 40 hrs/week. In this case, the monthly compensation should be adjusted proportionally.
  • The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
